for memorial day this year we decided we really needed to get out of town, since it had been a while. so we grabbed the brooks family and headed up to huntsville. it was packed! we had never seen huntsville like that before. but we'd never been up there on a holiday and the weather was so nice. no matter we had a great time anyway. we had a picnic, the boys road their bikes, sam and bart even got to go on a ride for a little while without the kids. they played at the park, and when we went to go play in the water and saw how many people where out there, we decided to go over and let the boys play on the boat ramp where it was much less crowded. sam and bart ran over and rented a canoe and then came back and took all the boys except hyrum on a ride. but of course they all jumped out of the canoe before i could get a picture, so i had them all get back in but truman was not interested and hyrum jumped in for a quick ride for the pictures instead. then brooke and i got to take the canoe out all by ourselves. it was so fun. we had a great time. happy memorial day.
