mother's day...

i am the lucky mother of all this craziness!  i don't know what i would do without these sweet boy, besides maybe not be quite so tired.  and as a side note you maybe looking at beck's shirt and think i am a crummy not so observant mom; sighting that his shirt is on backwards, and i did nothing about it.  but it actually makes me a great mom, because i did notice it, i would have liked it changed, but i let it go! 

garden part lV...

our garden looking great.  peas where getting so tall we didn't know what to do with them.  our carrots, well that may have been a carrot or just a weed.  the zuchini were growning and the pumpkins.  we had so much fun watching them.  and then it got HOT, texas hot really quick.  we tried to give them extra shade and water them, BUT we lost everything.  we just couldn't save it from the dag-nab heat around here.  but we will take it as a good first round and we will see when we are up for a second.  we did plant a little late so being better timing wise may bring more sucess next time??? 5/6/12

look how many.  the boys would have to go outside everymorning to count how many plants their were and so they could give us a status update on numbers and  how big they were getting.

we had been all talk about a garden for a while.  the boys were really excited about the idea and kept asking sam about it.  so one saturday after soccer we went and got some dirt, some galvanized tubs, and some seeds, oh and we borrowed a wheel barrow.  we planted peas, carrots, pumpkins, zuchinis, and raspberries.

hunting for bluebonnets...

my two texan's out in the bluebonnets.  it had been a very long day.  this was after our trip to the farm.  atticus is such a good baby but he had been in the car for hours, walking around a farm and then hanging out with dad and brothers while mom took pictures of the reed's,  oh and he was hungry too.  that's about how much it takes to get this one upset.  these are the drives that make me think we live in a very pretty place.
