gb park...

a few saturdays ago we wanted to get out into the nice weather but didn't want to make a big production out of it.  sam had a great idea.  we all piled into the cars along with the boys bikes and the jogging stroller.  we drove over to gb park and sam and i tried to keep up with the boys while they road their bikes.  we had lots of fun, we did a little over 3 miles out and back.  the boys did awesome i was impressed with all of us.  when we got back to the cars ace had fallen asleep in the stroller so we sat in the back of the volvo drinking gatorade and then we decided to make fun shadows in the parking lot, {love the pictures!!}.  we stopped at potbelly's on the way home and got dinner.  it was a great day. i have awesome boys! {1/14/2012}

seventeen weeks...

i asked truman if he would help me set the table for dinner. he apparently thought we were all going to be really thirsty!  he unloaded the entire dishwasher full of cups onto the table.

old men and 100 day...

it was the 100th day of school last wednesday and the 1st graders were suppose to dress up like they were 100.  isaac wore flour in his hair, a button up, his bow tie, a cardigan, his church pants, big nose glasses minus the nose and his sperry top sider sneakers(they are totally mr roger shoes).  he looked so cute.  he will make one cute old man one of these days.  truman of course needed his picture too.
