christmas eve...

with the brook's and the holt's.  brooke put together a fun christmas eve for us.  complete with gingerbread houses, a yummy dinner, and a nativity scene.  we had a great time and it was a nice way to get into the christmas spirit.

my family came in town for the week before christmas.  all of them!  it was a first for sammie and braden, and we were so glad they all made it.  our house was bursting at the seems with people sleeping all over the place but i'd do it again tomorrow.  they were here for beckam's birthday.  they took sam, isaac, and beckam with them and visited six flags in san antonio the boys had tons of fun.  we went shopping, to movies, saw battleships and alligators, went bowling, and some of us even made it to the shooting range. really could you ask for anything more.  and on the last day we even got to have an earlier christmas with them.
